An administrator has permission to view all published assets on an installation, including to take action against assets that receive a complaint from a viewer.
Public shares
All Pebble+ users have the ability to share with the web, meaning they can publish their work and give access to anyone with the link.
An administrator can see an overview of all published assets on their installation and see:
- asset title
- name of publisher
- date of publish
- view count
To access:
- From the Pebble+ burger menu, choose Additional services > Administration
- Click the Assets tab.
You will need to be assigned the role of an administrator to access the global administration panel.
Unpublish an asset
You may need to intervene to remove a share, unpublishing it from the web.
To remove:
- Use the search bar to find the asset by title or publisher
- Click the X of the asset
- Read the confirmation modal and click OK.
Complaints
All published assets include an option for the viewer to Report this item as inappropriate in the information sidebar.
When an asset is reported, it is added to the complaints list in global administration, ready for action to be taken by an administrator which includes:
- view the asset
- unshare the asset (unpublishing)
- suspend the user (deny login completely)
- delete the asset
- close the complaint
To action:
- Click the Action button of the reported asset.
- Choose your desired action from the list.
- (optional) Type a note into the text area.
- Click Add note.
A history of actions is logged against the complaint, including:
- Name of administrator
- Date of action
- Nature of action
- Copy of notes
No notification is sent when a new complaint is issued. Therefore, the complaints page should be manually checked frequently.
