Adjusting the properties of a content block changes what is shown and hidden on a Page or Post. You can change the properties based on your requirements.
What are block properties?
Where a content block is used on a Page, the appearance and function can be adjusted by changing its properties.
To change:
- Click the Properties button to open the sidebar.
The change is made for an individual block, not all blocks of this same type on the page.
Banner block properties
| Background colour | Set the background colour from the swatch selection. |
| Banner height | Set the banner size:

| Layout | Set the banner text:

| Separating line | Set if the title is underlined. |
| Subtitle | Show or hide a subtitle beneath the title |
Text block properties
| Background colour | Set the background colour from the swatch selection. |
| Title | Add a title to the block |
| Text columns | Show the text contained in one or two columns. |
| Duplicate block | Copy the block, including content and properties. |
Image block properties
| Background colour | Set the background colour from the swatch selection. |
| Width | Set the block width to Reading or Maximum. Works in conjunction with Page Layout property. |
| Title | Add a title to the block |
| Caption | Add a caption to the image. |
| On clicking image | Set the behaviour when a viewer clicks on the image:

| Duplicate block | Copy the block, including content and properties. |
Video block properties
| Background colour | Set the background colour from the swatch selection. |
| Width | Set the block width to Reading or Maximum. Works in conjunction with Page Layout property. |
| Title | Add a title to the block |
| Caption | Add a caption to the video. |
| Video controls | Set the behaviour of the video:
