Collaborate on an asset

A PebblePad asset created with one of the creative tools, or a template or workbook, can be shared by the owner with other people to work collaboratively.

Share to collaborate

The person who creates an asset is its owner. You can work with another person, or group of people, to collaborate and complete the asset together by sharing it with them.

To collaborate:

  1. Follow the share an asset with people guide.
  2. In the share options, tick Collaboration.
  3. Click Share asset.

To share with multiple people:

  • add multiple names in one share, or
  • share with one person and repeat the process for each collaborator.

Accept a collaboration

When someone shares an asset with you for collaboration, it appears as a labelled asset in your Asset Store.

To accept:

  1. In your Asset Store, click the asset title to open.
  2. Click the Accept Collaboration and Edit button.
  3. In the modal, click Accept and Edit.

Once collaboration has been accepted, it cannot be revoked by the asset creator or any other co-owners. You must delete and purge the asset to remove yourself.

Work collaboratively

When collaborating with others on an asset:

  • Only one person can have the asset open in their Pebble+ account at any one time.
  • It must be saved and closed for someone else to open and edit in theirs.
  • All collaborators have equal, unrestricted ownership of the asset.
  • Edits are not tracked by contributor.

Collaborative assessment

If your collaborative asset is being assessed in ATLAS:

  • Any co-owner can share the asset with ATLAS.
  • It can only be shared once, further attempts (by others) will be rejected.
  • Any assessment released by an assessor will be visible to all co-owners.
