Use account settings to adjust your profile image, set a preferred language, control cookies to view external content and how PebblePad notifies you by email.

Account settings

You can personalise your account settings for use across the platform.

To access: 

1. From the navigation bar, click the Profile image icon.
2. Choose Account settings.

Profile

As your account is linked to your wider institution profile, you cannot update your:

• Username
• Display Name

 Where permitted, your password can be changed on the log in page.

 Your profile image will appear on your PebblePad dashboard and in comment threads.

To add:

1. On the Pebble+ dashboard, click the Edit button
2. From the sidebar, select an image or upload to your Asset Store.
3. Click the image to select and use it.

Upload an image ready to use, as it cannot be edited within PebblePad.

Language

You can set a preferred language to be used across the platform from the following choices:

• Cymraeg – Cymru
• English – Australia
• English – New Zealand
• English – United Kingdom
• English – United States
• Nederlands - Nederland

Privacy

You can control how content from other websites and services (e.g. YouTube, H5P etc) displays in your PebblePad account by adjusting the cookie settings.

Where Do not load embedded content is selected, you will be asked to allow each time external content is used, which you can choose to accept or decline.

Notifications

You can adjust how you receive email notifications from PebblePad when activities occur.

• Email – individual notifications sent instantly when the event happens.
• Digest – a summary included in one daily email sent at a time you choose.
