A placeholder page combines the creative tools with a workbook to let you add an activity log, blog, collection or page and define its layout or search criteria.

What is a placeholder page?

A placeholder page gives the option to use the four creative tools within a workbook structure and complete them in the usual way:

• Activity log
• Blog
• Collection
• Page

Add a placeholder page

A workbook will indicate where and which type of placeholder page can be added.

Create new

Use this option if you have not yet created an activity log, blog, collection or page.

To add:

1. Click the Add [type] button to open the creative tool builder.
2. Click the Back to workbook link.
   
   
3. The asset will be attached to your workbook.

Add existing

Use this option if you have already created an activity log, blog, collection or page, and it is saved in your Asset Store.

To add:

1. Click the Add existing button to open the Asset Store sidebar.
2. Choose the asset from the list.
3. The asset will be attached to your workbook.

Replace or remove a placeholder page

A placeholder page can be replaced or removed if the wrong one is added.

To action:

1. Open the page in the workbook.
2. From the banner at the top of the page, click Replace or Remove.
