How the AI Workbook Generator Works

AI Workbook Wizard Steps

AI Workbook wizard stages

This section is broken into five sub sections:

  1. Workbook name: This is the name of the workbook the AI will create, which will be saved to your resource store.

The following sections of the page will be used by the AI to determine the workbook’s content, structure, and outcomes.

  2. Subject or discipline: Informs the AI on how to design and ensure the content is relevant to a discipline.
  3. Define your audience: Tailors the content to the target audience (under-graduate, post-graduate etc).
  4. Workbook description: By describing the type of workbook you want to create, such as one for personal reflection, the AI will use this information to determine the structure, content, and block types to include in the workbook.
  5. Outcomes and objectives: Defining the learning outcomes you want learners to achieve helps the AI refine the overall structure of the workbook and checks that the most appropriate block types when generating it.

Only once all boxes have been completed, can you progress to the next step of the wizard.

Step 2 – Customise

Based on the information provided in Stage 1, the Customise step displays a preview of the workbook that the AI will generate. Here, you can view and edit the AI-generated templates and content blocks, modify template titles, and reorder templates as needed.
