A PebblePad resource can be directly linked to from within a Brightspace course to provide learners with quick access to use a structured template or workbook.

About direct resource links

A direct resource link gives a workspace manager a lite-touch option of providing learners with access to a PebblePad resource.

You can add a content item in Brightspace that links directly to a PebblePad template or workbook resource you own, or co-own.

The method does not connect a Brightspace course with an ATLAS workspace.

To synchronise with a workspace, create a PebblePad assignment link with Brightspace. A resource can also be associated with this link.

Create a direct resource link

To create a link in Brightspace, you must be enrolled as an Instructor or Course Builder on the course.

To add:

1. In the Brightspace course, navigate to Content.
2. Click Existing Activities and choose Resource Linking Tool.
3. From the modal, choose a resource from your Resource Store.
4. (Optional) Click Bulk Edit to change the template title and description.

A resource set to single-use will prevent learners from creating multiple asset responses.
