An assessor submission assignment requires an assessor to generate and complete a feedback template to assess an observation or presentation by a learner.
Settings overview
When creating a new assignment, these setting options are available to configure to your assessment requirements:
This guide is for an assessor submission assignment - which does not require learners to share assets with ATLAS, but instead an assessor will generate the asset to provide assessment.
For an explanation of all options, read the work with assignments guide.
This sets how an assessor will view submissions to give feedback and assessment.
- Submission Viewer 2 - default option, recommended
- Submission Viewer - legacy option, not recommended
A template or workbook resource must be added for the assessor to use. They generate the submission and release the asset to the learner when it is complete.
The resource must:
- be built in advance and available for selection,
- be owned or co-owned by you, or made available as an Other ATLAS Resource,
- have the content blocks set as assessor fields (role restriction permission)
An assessor will be limited to one submission per learner. If multiple submissions are required, use a combined submission assignment.
Read the assessor's guide to working with assignments.
