A combined assignment offers the functions of both a member and assessor assignment in one. Either person can generate the submission, and both can complete it.
Assignment overview
A combined assignment joins the functionality of a member submission and an assessor submission assignment.
- Either the learner or the assessor can generate the submission.
- A resource is attached to the assignment for the assessor.
- A resource can be set to auto submit for the learner.
- Dates, quantity and removal settings can be applied.
The combined assignment is typically used when:
- an assessor starts a submission for the learner to continue completing it
- an assessor needs to generate multiple submissions per learner
To set-up the assignment, the resource must:
- be built in advance and available for selection,
- be owned or co-owned by you, or made available as an Other ATLAS Resource,
- contain content block set as assessor fields (role restriction permission)
Read the assessor's guide to working with assignments.
