Manage a combined submission assignment

A combined assignment offers the functions of both a member and assessor assignment in one. Either person can generate the submission, and both can complete it.

Assignment overview

A combined assignment joins the functionality of a member submission and an assessor submission assignment.

  • Either the learner or the assessor can generate the submission.
  • A resource is attached to the assignment for the assessor.
  • A resource can be set to auto submit for the learner.
  • Dates, quantity and removal settings can be applied.

The combined assignment is typically used when:

  • an assessor starts a submission for the learner to continue completing it
  • an assessor needs to generate multiple submissions per learner

To set-up the assignment, the resource must:

Read the assessor's guide to working with assignments.
