An introduction to the role of an ATLAS workspace manager with PebblePad, including the permissions and responsibilities you are able to perform once enrolled.
Who is a workspace manager?
A workspace manager is a staff member who organises and oversees the day-to-day learning and assessment for one or more modules or courses. Your focus may be on one, or all, of the following areas:
- Administration
You control the enrolment of people, the availability of resources, and the organisation of settings and data. - Academic lead
You instruct learners, assessors and externals to achieve a cohesive learning assessment process. - Support
You help users when they need assistance to resolve issues.
ATLAS roles
ATLAS has several levels of hierarchy and a workspace manager sits:
- beneath a platform administrator, who controls the overall ATLAS organisation.
- above an assessor, who is enrolled onto the same workspaces but given few access permissions.
