ATLAS is the Active Teaching Learning and Assessment Space where the institution is organised into regions and workspaces to handle learning and assessment.
What is ATLAS?
The Active Teaching Learning and Assessment Space (ATLAS) is PebblePad's assessment area. It has three levels of hierarchy.
- Organisation

The structure is organised as follows:

- Organisation Managers
- Organisation Resources
- External assessor account database
- Region management
Full user accounts and platform-wide default settings are managed in global administration
Region
An ATLAS region is a dedicated space within the organisation. An unlimited number can be created, typically to align with the institution's school or faculty structure.
A region inherits its settings from the organisation defaults, but can set its own if required, which cascade to workspaces within the region.
A region can also control:
- Region settings
- Region managers
- Region resources
- External assessors enrolment
- Workspace management

A workspace can also control:
