Log in with external account

An external account is issued by an institution to access their PebblePad installation and is required to log in to ATLAS to provide assessment and validation.





PebblePad installation


Each institution using PebblePad has their own installation. Your account is only valid for the institution where it was issued.



To find:

  1. Select the geographical region of your institution from the login page (opens in new tab).
  2. Choose your institution from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Choose organisation.



When using a search engine, check you are accessing the correct PebblePad installation.







How to log in


The PebblePad log in page may differ if the institution has a Single Sign-On service enabled. 



Default SSO enabled


To log in:

  1. Type your username into the text field.
  2. Type your password into the text field.
  3. Click Log In to PebblePad.



I’ve forgotten or don’t know my username
  1. Click Forgot username link beneath the Username field.
  2. Type your email address into the text field.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Open your email inbox.
  5. An email from PebblePad will confirm your account’s username

If an email does not arrive to your inbox, check your spam/junk folder, or try another email address if you have multiple accounts.


I've forgotten or don't know my password
  1. Click the Forgot password link beneath the Password field.
  2. Type your username into the text field.
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. Open your email inbox.
  5. An email PebblePad will contain a password reset link.
  6. Click the link to return to PebblePad in your browser.
  7. Type, and confirm, a new password in the text fields
  8. Click the Confirm button

If an email does not arrive to your inbox, check your spam/junk folder.


I want to change my password
  1. Click the Change your password link beneath the Log in to PebblePad button.
  2. Type your Username into the text field.
  3. Confirm your current password.
  4. Type a new password, and retype to confirm
  5. Click the Confirm button
