Where integrated with Canvas, PebblePad provides you with the ability to use the range of creative tools, templates and workbooks to complete an assignment.
Access PebblePad with Canvas
When used together, your Canvas account and PebblePad account are linked. Your full name and email address is passed between platforms to identify you and synchronise your work, feedback and grades.
To open PebblePad:
- Log in to Canvas with your account details.
- Go to the Canvas course page.
- Click the PebblePad link (see below) to open PebblePad.

PebblePad assignment link
Where a PebblePad assignment is used on your Canvas course, your assessor requests you use PebblePad to complete it. The link displays the:
- assignment title,
- description to guide you,
- button to open PebblePad.
To begin:
When clicked, depending upon the assignment settings, the link will direct you to either:
- Pebble+ Dashboard
Navigate to use one of the creative tools, such as a blog or portfolio, or a template or workbook in your Resource Store. - A template or workbook
Complete this specific resource. You may also need to share with ATLAS for assessment later on. - A template or workbook with auto-submit
Complete this specific resource, which is automatically shared to ATLAS to give access to your assessors from the beginning.

PebblePad template link
The link goes directly to a PebblePad template. When opened and saved, the asset is added to your Asset Store.
If a Canvas course does not contain a PebblePad assignment link, a template cannot be shared to ATLAS for assessment. See other sharing options with people and the web.
