Where integrated with Moodle, PebblePad provides learners with the ability to use a range of creative tools, templates and workbooks to complete an assignment.
Access PebblePad with Moodle
When used together, your Moodle account and PebblePad account are linked. Your full name and email address is passed between platforms to identify you and synchronise your work, feedback and grades.
To open PebblePad:
- Log in to Moodle with your account details.
- Go to the Moodle course page.
- Click the PebblePad link (see below) to open PebblePad.

PebblePad assignment link
Where a PebblePad assignment is used on your Moodle course, your assessor requests you use PebblePad to complete it. The link displays the:
- PebblePad logo,
- assignment title.
To begin:
When clicked, depending upon the assignment settings, the link will direct you to either:
- Pebble+ Dashboard
Navigate to use one of the creative tools, such as a blog or portfolio, or a template or workbook in your Resource Store. - A template or workbook
Complete this specific resource. You may also need to share with ATLAS for assessment later on. - A template or workbook with auto-submit
Complete this specific resource, which is automatically shared to ATLAS to give access to your assessors from the beginning.

PebblePad template link
Separate from the assignment link (above), you can also be provided a link directly to a PebblePad template. This lets you use the structured page, often multiple times, to complete your work and save it to your Asset Store.
If a Moodle course only contains a PebblePad template link, and not a PebblePad assignment link, assets cannot be shared to ATLAS for assessment.
