A PebblePad resource can be directly linked to from within a Canvas course to provide learners with quick access to use a structured template or workbook.
About direct resource links
A direct resource link gives a workspace manager a lite-touch option of providing learners with access to a PebblePad resource.
You can add a content link in Canvas that goes directly to a PebblePad template or workbook resource you own, or co-own.
This method does not connect a Canvas course with an ATLAS workspace.
To synchronise with a workspace, create a PebblePad assignment link with Canvas. A resource can also be associated with this link.
Create a direct resource link
To create a link in Canvas, you must be enrolled as a Teacher or Course Designer on the course.
To add:
- In the Canvas course, choose a page to add the text link.
- Click Edit
- Highlight the text to be used as the clickable link.
- From the text editor, click Apps and choose View All.
- Click PebblePad Resources LTI 1.3.
- From the modal, choose a resource from your Resource Store.
- Click Save.
A resource set to single-use will prevent learners from creating multiple asset responses.
