Manage workspace resources

The resource page in a workspace is how to distribute workbooks, templates and other content to the enrolled cohort for them to access in Pebble+ and via ATLAS.






Resource page


The resource page in a workspace is how resources, assets and links are distributed to the enrolled learners. It can contain:


  • Workbooks (resource)
  • Templates (resource)
  • Shell portfolios (asset)
  • Other files  (PDF, slideshow etc)
  • Direct web links



By adding resources in this way, learners can gain access to:








Resource panel


The page contains a panel which has a collection of resources. It can be set as:


  • Visible - shown to learners
  • Hidden - not shown to learners
  • Date range - shown to learner between the specified dates



When visible, all the contained resources are available to all the people enrolled to the workspace. It is not possible to show or hide resources to a select group of users, e.g. those assigned to a set.


If required, additional panels can be added to a page to show/hide resources at different times, e.g: semester 1 or semester 2, etc.




To add:

  1. From the Resource page, click Create a panel button.

  2. Type a title (required)
  3. Type a description (optional)
  4. Set the visibility
  5. Click Save







Add a resource


An unlimited number of resources can be added to a panel on the resource page.




To add:

  1. From the Resource page, click the folder icon.

  2. Choose a tab for the source of the resource (see below) and click Select item.
  3. Adjust the settings of the resource (see below)
  4. Tick the confirmation and click Continue.




Resource source

The tabs filter a resource's location:



My ATLAS resourcesA list to resources you previously added to a workspace.
My assetsA list of assets you own in your Asset Store.
My templatesA list of templates you own or co-own in your Resource Store.
My workbooksA list of workbooks you own or co-own in your Resource Store.
Other ATLAS resourcesA list of resources others have allowed to be reused.




Resource settings

The following settings can be adjusted:


How would you like to refer to this in the resource panel?
  •  Refer to this resource on this Workspace using its existing title and description
  •  Add a new reference title and description for this resource on this Workspace


Would you like to prompt the user to auto-submit the form when saved?
  • No - the learner must share with ATLAS at a later date
  • *Yes - the asset response will share to ATLAS as soon as it is created.

*The assignment should be created first.


Would you like to allow other people to use this resource on their workspaces?
  • No - only you will have access to use this resource in ATLAS
  • *Yes - choose within the same region only, or anyone in your organisation.

*Will be seen in Other ATLAS resources tab.


Would you like to allow a user to complete this Resource in ATLAS?
  • No - must be completed in Pebble+
  • Yes - can be completed in ATLAS, but with limited functionality.







Edit a panel or resource


You can make changes to a panel or a resource:



To edit:

  1. On the Resource page, click the orange settings cog.

  2. Click the orange settings cog of the individual resource.
  3. Adjust the settings.
  4. Tick the confirmation and click Continue.



Auto submit will only apply to asset responses created after the setting is applied. Any existing assets will not auto submit retrospectively. 
Changes to the resource itself must be done be the Resource Builder.
