A learner's submission that has been shared to ATLAS can be managed by moving it to another assignment, or workspace, or deleting the submission entirely.
Submission list
The submission page contains a list of assets learners have shared with ATLAS for assessment.
There is one submission list per assignment.
Where sets are used, this can restrict manager and external access to view certain learners, and not the whole cohort.
By default, a list shows submissions by date, with the latest submission at the top. The list can be reordered.
Read the assessor's guide to viewing submissions.
Move a submission
A submission can be moved to:
- another assignment in the same workspace
- another assignment in a different workspace
When actioned, the asset can be:
- moved entirely - no copy retained in the original location.
- duplicated and moved - a copy is retained in the original location.
If the origin workspace has user selected assessors enabled, the submission(s) can only be moved to another workspace and a copy not retained in the original location.
The destination assignment must have compatible settings:
- Where assignment deadlines differ, you may not see the same version of the submission.
- If a learner is not enrolled on the destination workspace, moving the submission will not enrol them.
- An assignment extension is not copied to the destination workspace.
To move:
- On the submission page, tick the submission(s) to select.
- Click Manage submissions.
- Choose the required move option (assignment / workspace).
- Choose the destination workspace/assignment.
- Choose to keep a copy in original location, or not.
- Click Continue.
- The confirmation page will show compatibility.
- Tick to confirm and click Continue.
Remove a submission
Removing a submission from a workspace will remove the asset from ATLAS only. It does not delete the learner's asset, which is retained in their asset store.
If an assignment has a limited number of submissions per learner enabled, removing will free a space for another submission to be made.
To remove:
- On the submission page, tick the submission(s) to select.
- Click Manage submissions.
- Choose Remove from this assignment entirely.
- Tick to confirm and click Continue.
The learner will be notified their submission has been removed. They can also request to remove their own submission.
