Comments can be added to a submission in order to give informal, formative feedback to learners. They are able to reply to your post for an ongoing discussion.
Sidebar comment
A comment post can be added to a submission in the Submission Viewer sidebar. If this is a workbook, the comment can be attached to either:
- the page currently open in the workbook,
- the overall workbook.
To comment:
- With the submission open in Submission Viewer, click the sidebar icon to open it
- Click the Comment tab
- Type your comment into the text area
- (Optional) Tick box to save on this page
- Click Save
Capability comment
When a page contains a capability block, as well as being able to add a capability approval, you can also add a capability comment at the block level.
To comment:
- In Submission Viewer, click the +Add button of the capability block.
- Choose Add comment from the menu.
- Type your comment in the sidebar text area.
- Click Save
When added, a comment icon appears in the capability block, next to the +Add button.
View a comment
Comments left by you and others can be viewed and filtered in the Submission Viewer sidebar.
To see:
- With the submission open in Submission Viewer, click the sidebar icon to open it
- Click the comments tab
- Existing comments are shown.
