The settings page controls the title and description, usage statement, which pages are visible, submission notifications, enrolment settings and beta features.
To access:
- Within the workspace, click Management.
- Click Settings from the sub menu.
At minimum, you will need to be a workspace manager with lead tutor permissions.
Workspace title and description
A workspace title will appear on the ATLAS dashboard and breadcrumb trail. Changes made here will update in all locations.
Usage statement
When a learner shares with ATLAS to this workspace, they are shown this usage statement to confirm how it will be used. The default statement can be amended to reflect a specific workspace use.
Where Turnitin is enabled, a separate usage statement is shown to learners, and can be amended here.
Workspace pages
A workspace contains a selection of pages. Each can individually be activated (made visible), and at least one page must be shown.
You can choose which page people will land on by default when they first enter the workspace.
Workspace subscription
Set how members (learners) are enrolled to this workspace.
- Manually subscribe
An ATLAS Manager will control the enrolment of accounts. - Self-subscribe
A learner can search for the workspace from the ATLAS dashboard and enrol them self.
User selected assessors
By default, a workspace manager will enrol external users.
You can allow members (learners) to choose their own external. This enables the share with an external assessor option in Pebble+.
You can choose to grant:
- No restriction - a learner can create an external account and share their work.
- With restriction - a learner can only choose to share with existing external accounts.
Read the guide to managing external assessor access.
Submission notifications
You can set which notifications a manager or external receives when a new submission is:
- added to the workspace
- removed from the workspace
If sets are used to restrict access, this can also restrict notifications.
Beta features
Where beta features are launched in ATLAS, they can be enabled here to trial them.
