With the correct access provided by a learner or ATLAS Manager, an external user can log in to the external dashboard to open submissions to provide assessment.
Use submission viewer
As an external user, you will use all the assessment tools in the same way as staff assessors.
- When a learner has provided a direct share, their submission will open directly in submission viewer.
- When a workspace manager has enrolled you to a workspace, you will open it via the submission list.
Read the assessor's guide to viewing submissions.
View evidence
Evidence is typically a standalone asset (file) attached or collated to a main submission, for example:
- a template added to a workbook.
- a post added to a blog.
- an asset added to a collection.
You will view evidence by opening the main submission, and navigating to open the attached asset (except when verifying with a digital signature).
Read the assessor's guide to viewing evidence.
Add feedback
Feedback is summative comments added to a learner's submission. You can use:
- Feedback sidebar
- Feedback statements
- Feedback templates
- Assessor field feedback
- Block level feedback
Read the assessor's guide to adding feedback.
Add an approval
An approval is a colour-coded rating used to quickly validate a learner's work. You can use:
- Capability approval
- Asset approval
Read the assessor's guide to adding an approval.
Add a grade
A final, summative grade can be added to a submission. You can use:
- Traditional grade
- Scorecard
Read the assessor's guide to adding a grade.
